Whether you are migrating to IntelliPlant from an older version or starting a new plant, you’ll need to register each server with the website so it can be associated with your license.
Steps
1. Download the latest version here
You will need to log in to the website to download the software. If you need login credentials or your plant is not listed, give us a call!
2. Generate Server ID files
You’re not installing anything at this point, but you need to run the installer and click the Generate Server ID button on the first screen of the installer. Do this on each server (primary and secondary). Keep track of the generated files because you’ll need them for the next step.
3. Upload Server ID files
Now go back to the downloads page of the website. Select your plant and click <Select Server to Replace> to select primary or secondary. Click Upload Server ID File and give it the matching Server ID file for that server. Do this for each server.
4. Download License file
Now that your servers are registered, you can click the License.config link near the top of the downloads page to download your new license. When you are ready to install IntelliPlant on a server, make sure that the License.config file is in the same folder as the IntelliPlant_Installer-X.X.X.X.exe. The installer will handle the rest.
